Fully painted Khador army

At last! The army is completed. Some other, more important projects interupted my schedule so it took two months to show you final pictures. Advantage is that during this time the army "earned" a display stand. I have also managed to take better pictures, showing colors more accurately. Black background and daylight seems to work better showing hues of red. If you want to vote feel free to visit my CMON gallery, there are all of pictures showed below.
bigger pictures show after click ;)
here we go :

Markov Kovnik:

Iron Fang Uhlans:

Behemoth:

Kodiak:

Drakhun, mounted and dismounted version:

Assault Kommandos:

Widowmakers:

Yuri the Axe:

Manhunter and Manhuntress:

and three warcasters.
Vladimir Tzepesci:

Kommandant Irusk:

and Kommander Sorscha Kratikoff:

Display base is simple, it is rather unplanned bonus ;)
colors may look a bit strange on some of the pictures, it is hard to make good pictures of such big thing.

Blast from the Past! Ork Big Mek

This time Ork Big Mek from Games Workshop. Painted over two years ago. He gave me Silver Trophy in single SF category on the Slayer of Daemon Competition 2009, predecessor of Hussar Competition, biggest painting comp. in Poland. About 30 hours of work if I good remember. At this moment best model I have ever painted, I think. Other people think the same, according to CoolMiniOrNot rating, check here .

Newbold World

This time three models painted for Ian Newbold and his Newbold World. I paint for Ian over 4 years already. In most cases I need to fit in specific colour scheme. This time I had to copy colours from two pictures done by Cindy Dukino and paint third model in similar colours like one of the models done some time ago. Here are the effects...
First Lady Azurkina :

Second one is Lord Verminous (on the right), team mate of Lord Porker painted over two years ago..

..and third one is Lord Dingle ..

Those three models jumped between Khador models which I am finishing right now. Whole Khador army should be ready next week, I hope.

Blast from the Past : Morrdha, Vampire Mage from Reaper

Almost exactly one year ago I have painted this miniature as a gift. Rather quick paintjob, done in one day. He is taking part in Ian's Newbold Reaper competition.
Two different backgrounds, but I think, that the first one is better. Probably because of better fit of base.
Text in the book says:
"VEXILLA REGIS PRODEUNT INFERNI
A.D. 2010"
Red letters makes  "VIESNA", nickname of my girl ( well .. almost. actualy it is Wiesna)
This is line from Dante's "Divine Comedy" and means : "The banners of the king of Hell advance"

 Blaaaaah!
